   "The Champs"

There is no telling how far the following championship basketball team could
have gone if we would have had an indoor gym during the 1945/46 season.

They were called "the team with mud between their toes." 
The Mules from Poplar Bluff were to learn the Qulin team 
were not to be taken lightly when they were outscored by 
our team to win the county tournament.
